Established in 2003, the Revive Group is a national private health care provider and the largest employer of Nurse Practitioners in Australia. Our capabilities to deliver health services and programs across our pharmacy clinics, GP practices, employment sites and workplaces is unmatched. Our business model is founded on patient centric and collaborative health care delivery.

Our large database of health providers empowers patients to find providers and facilitates referrals from our clinics and inclusion of providers in delivering workplace health programs to our corporate clients. Patients are assisted in navigating the health care system and provided timely treatment and convenient access to health services to ensure patients have all the information they need to make informed choices about their health.

The Revive Group is the product of founder and managing director Louise Stewart's frustrations with our health care system – and her desire to do something that made a difference. It combined her two great passions: health and technology.

"Our health care system is tired and bureaucratic and while many people just accept that things will never change or that change is too difficult, I believe that the public should be able to access timely, convenient and affordable health services. However, with the shortage of GPs resulting in 2 minute medicine and overflowing Emergency departments, this hasn’t been possible, until now".

Louise set up Australia’s first Nurse Practitioner led clinics to fill this gap.

In 2008 the business expanded by opening Australia’s first Nurse Practitioner led retail health clinics in busy shopping centres and pharmacies. All in-pharmacy clinics are staffed by highly trained and experienced Nurse Practitioners, and all Revive Clinic Nurse Practitioners have access to Medicare and PBS funding.

She quit a successful, global career in Information Technology to focus on building the Revive Group business. Initially set up to facilitate consumers in finding health care providers in their local area it soon expanded into workplace health programs and Nurse Practitioner clinics.

As a mother Louise understands the importance of immediate access to health services. Her in-pharmacy nurse led clinics have proven popular with busy mums not able to get timely doctor’s appointments, patients requiring scripts urgently and men who are not prepared to make or wait for doctor’s appointments.
